In 1960, under the name of A & G Dies Limited, Max Guttmann, our founder, began manufacturing dies for all industries, including caster dies. By 1963, we increased our capacity by manufacturing a wide variety of stampings, which included a line of casters.
In 1969, our company decided to channel all of our efforts to the caster industry and ALGOOD CASTERS LIMITED was born. Today, Algood is a family owned and operated company. We have grown to be the largest caster manufacturer in Canada. We have expanded our horizons to export into the United States, Mexico and beyond.
Over the years, we have grown and equipped our facilities to serve the caster market where we manufacture a wide variety of casters for office furniture, institutional and industrial applications, shopping carts, food service equipment, material handling equipment and many other applications. At our 80,000 square foot Toronto facility, we do all of our own metal stamping, injection moulding, assembly, engineering and design, tooling and maintenance, and warehousing. We would be pleased to have you visit our manufacturing facility and see our complete operation.
On the strength of this history of success, our management, customer service, plant and engineering personnel all work together to give you, our customer, dedicated service. We look forward to serving you in the near future.
