Steinco Products

There are a variety of products available including different wheel diameters, locking elements, mounting type, mounting height, number of wheels, roll load capacity, and roll payload static. With over 1,000 different Steinco casters it can be difficult to decide what is important. Below are a list of attributes and the different types that we offer.

Wheel Diameter

Wheel diameter for different casters includes 50, 65, 75, 100, 125, 150, and 200mm. Smaller caster wheels are ideal for smooth surfaces and terrain. These smaller wheels swivel easier and are more responsive when making turns. Larger casters are designed for uneven surfaces and difficult terrain. Keep in mind that larger casters wheels also create more vertical height.

Locking Element

Some different locking elements include directional locks, total locks, total and directional locks, and wheel locks. Direction lock allows the caster to move forward and backward while restricting sideways movement, providing controlled linear motion. Total lock immobilizes both the wheel rotation and swivel, ensuring stability during stationary tasks. Total and directional lock combines these features, enabling movement in a set direction while maintaining stability. Wheel lock focuses on halting the wheel rotation, preventing any movement. We also offer casters without locking mechanisms.

Mounting Type

The different mounting types offered are bolt hole, mounting plate, stem, and threaded bolt. Bolt hole mounts involve attaching casters through pre-drilled holes, ensuring a secure connection and higher weight capacity. Mounting plate mounts provide easy installation onto flat surfaces, distributing weight effectively. Stem mounts insert directly into compatible sockets, allowing swivel movement and straightforward replacement. Threaded bolt mounts are versatile, offering adjustable height and secure attachment.

Mounting Height

While offering different mounting heights for casters, it determines the total distance the caster raises the unit off the floor when assembled. This is important when considering what your casters are being attached to and what kind of clearance will be needed. Our mounting height ranges from 58-233mm.

Conclusion

As you can see, Steinco offers a myriad of caster options suitable for many different individual or industrial needs. Their vast product line, reliability, durability, and quality casters make them a perfect option when deciding which type of casters best suits your needs.
