Vending machines can be clunky, heavy and may need a reliable caster on the bottom of the machine. Most vending machines are portable so you can move your food back and forth of where you need the application. In this post I am going to give you a option of what kind of caster you need for your vending machine.
Vending Machine Casters (BLS/BMS Series Sizes 2-3/8″ to 3″)
(Capacity Range 400 to 1000 lbs.) The Bassick BLS/BMS series is a great option for vending machine casters. This series offers one of the most durable casters you can get. The manufacturer came out with a very innovated brake style which they call “Sure-Lok Brake”. This brake gives you the ability to lock your vending machine in place and is very easy to engage.

2012. The ICAFe team wanted to express the sincere sadness and sympathies to his family. During his many years in sales all of us co-workers knew what high character personality he had and how he had a special connection with his customers/co-workers. Having a problem holding your carts in place? The Caster Guy has a resolution. Floor truck locks work only on a level floor only. When engaging a caster floor lock you will see a large pedal sticking out to give you the convenience of engaging the floor lock to brake your application. All floor locks the caster guy sells have a neoprene/rubber pad that engages on the floor giving you maximum braking capability. Please note that floor locks are not designed to lift your application. When releasing the floor locks, simply take your foot and press down the two levers, which will allow your application to move freely.

Hamilton Duralast Polyurethane Wheels
Hamilton Casters has a excellent selection of polyurethane wheels. Stay tuned for future posts on different kind of polyurethane wheels along with the exclusive benefits.
The Duralast polyurethane wheel has the durability of a steel wheel. According to Hamilton’s website the polyurethane liquid cast has a thickness of approximately 1/2″ and is chemically bonded onto a heavy duty iron wheel core. This specific wheel will have a distinctive green tread. These wheels have many different bearing options – you can get these wheels with a straight roller bearing, plain bore, or a tapered roller bearing.
